It is the last quarter of the year and I have 5 more books that I want to read, kinda. I feel like I am reaching for books to read lately, I haven’t been really feeling it. Def more into movies and music, maybe I will start to write about those things too?

This quarter’s book are brought to you by my ‘currently reading’ folder in Storygraphs. Some of these have been on there for a while and I am tired of seeing them on there. There is one book that I have not started that is on this list though so I did mix it up a little.

1. A Touch of Jen by Beth Morgan
   • Another book recommended by a friend that gave me the audiobook. I started as reading it a physical book while I was hanging out with him but I think he lent the book out to someone else cause I don’t see it anymore when I go over lol. Anyways this is able a weird couple that obsessed with someone names Jen. I started reading this book in June of this year.
2. The Celebrant by Steven Rowley
   • A group of friends meet up again after a long time and someone has some hard news to share. There are gay people in this book lol. I think I started this book originally at the beginning of April 2025
3. Deep End by Ali Hazelwood
   • A kinky book about deep water divers. For some reason I have made it my mission to have read all of Ali’s books and I hate myself for this but I must soldier on. I started this book in May 2025.
4. Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
   • The classic, gross tail, about a man who pursues a young girl. There is a lot of discourse about this book but I have decided to see what’s going on and why it has stuck around for so long. I don’t know how long ago I started this book, I feel like it was probably June 2025
5. Animal Farm by George Orwell
   • This is the only book on my list that I haven’t started reading! But it is one that I have considered/wanted to read for a long time and feel like now is finally the time to read it.
