I had kinda of sworn off romance books a bit ago, as some of you may remember me mentioning in a previous post. But the think is, I put this on my quarterly goal, so I had to. So I am happy to say that I have now read 3 out of the 5 books.

With the 3rd quarter ending soon, I don’t believe I will actually finish the other two books I have on the list. Mostly because I don’t feel like reading Gideon right now and also Notes from Deep Time doesn’t have an audiobook and I don’t have the time to actually read a book.

I am working a musical in October though and during our tech I will have so much time to read but will I have the desire to? Only time will tell and also I don’t have high hopes for myself.

This book was billed to me saying that if I like Ashley Poston then I would like this book and tbh that was so true. They def had the same vibe as her other books I have read.

Now after all that absolute RAMBLING I will summarize this book 🙂

A sad lady is turning 30 and her grandma who always says they are magic says that she can grant her a wish. The girl doesn’t believe her and at the time she was supposed to say it she had a throw away wish that her dog could be human so that way they know she isn’t actually lonely.

Oops, the next morning her dog is a human. She enlists the help of her neighbor and childhood friend to help her figure out how to turn him back.

Grandma says that it was in the rules that the wish was irriversable but gives them something to try and that was for the girl to find her true purpose. After that she realizes that she is in love with her neighbor.

It takes her forever to tell him but the dog doesn’t turn back into human.

Throughout the book the FMC comes to accept that her family and herself are in fact magic and plans to use the wish thing for her human dog.

It works and the human dog is a dog again.

Happily ever after.
