Sorry for the shitty image, making the egg was hard to do lol.

I was recommended this book by a friend of mine after telling him about a different book I was reading lol. I am referring to Reincarnation Blues by Michael Poore. When I was telling him about the plot of that book, he said this one was very similar and very short (3 pages lol, I read it twice).

In case y’all didn’t know, Andy Weir is the same author who wrote The Martian and Project Hail Mary but tbh I haven’t read any of them but I will put them on my list.

A man dies and meets god, before going off into his next life they have a short conversation that I have two specific quotes I want to share.

“So what’s the point of it all?”

“Seriously?” I asked. “Seriously? You’re asking me for the meaning of life? Isn’t that a little stereotypical?”

God is so silly sometimes.

“I’m Abraham Lincoln?”

“And you’re John Wilkes Booth, too,” I added.

“I’m Hitler?” You said, appalled.

“And you’re the millions he killed.”

“I’m Jesus?”

“And you’re everyone who followed him.”

You fell silent.

“Every time you victimized someone,” I said, “you were victimizing yourself. Every act of kindness you’ve done, you’ve done to yourself. Every happy and sad moment ever experienced by any human was, or will be, experienced by you.”

God told the man that this world was made for him to mature so that he will also one day become god just like him.

godbye (lol)
