4th and final book I am reading for the last quarter goal!!! Now, I know you are alllll wondering, “but Blair, I thought that you make a goal of 5 books to read in the quarter.” and my answer to you is. I know, but I’ll talk more about that in the next post lol.

Anyways, like I said in my goals post, this was a recommendation from a friend. He had told me about it but really only the first part where it sounded somewhat normal? Cause it got weirdddd.

I don’t think I can easily explain this one guys. One because I get really tired writing these, which makes you ask, why even write them? And that is something I cannot answer lol.

There are two people in a relationship and they are weirdly obsessed with the guys previous coworker, Jen. They will constantly look at her insta and will have the girl role play as her.

They run into her a few times and get invited to a weekend getaway. There the girl starts acting especially weird and even gets in bed with jen and her boyfriend and strangles her.

Once they get back the girl gets really crazy about pretending to be jen and eventually dies in an accident on her way home from work in a bicycle accident.

The guy is kinda weird about it, somehow ends up hooking up with real Jen but she ghosts him afterwards. He had befriended a mutual ex coworker (carla?) of theirs and she is trying to help him get with Jen so she can get with Jen’s boyfriend.

The guy has been feeling like he is going crazy though cause he feels like there are noises happening in his place and food disappearing. Until one night he gets up and fights this paranormal thing.

He called Carla cause she is also into the paranormal and aura like that. When she gets there she calls someone else who knows about this thing that attacked him. She tells him that he needs to kill it but she doesn’t know how but that he should start listening to the signs that are all around him that are pointing him in the right direction.

He eventually realizes that he needs to kill Jen’s boyfriend so that way he can get with Jen and it is his destiny to make the monster go away.

When he gets to Jen’s place, this monster is chasing him and he realizes that it actually looks like Jen and that means he has to kill Jen.

He eventually drowns her and takes her back to his house and puts her in this hot tub thing that his dead girlfriend made before she died and somehow that brings jen back to life but with the girlfriends consciousness in her body instead. I think?

Honestly I was a little confused at the end of the book with how it exactly ended there. I had everything else set though lol.

It was such a fun book to read though, funny and insane and it was fun to judge people that are assholes and make bad decisions. Kinda felt like watching a social experiment.
