!!!!proceed with caution, spoilers ahead!!!!

Maybe I need to work on my shit so I am not constantly spelling these words wrong but like oops? I rely way too much on spell check cause I would look so stupid without it. Maybe one day I will do better.

To be fair to me, I have made an effort for some words okay. It took me until my early 20s before I could spell minute right. I also still struggle with barely because I am worried that barley the grain and barely as in ‘only just or almost not’ are spelled the same when in fact they are not. I am constantly looking it up to double check cause I always fear of sounding like an idiot.

Although I guess if I really didn’t want to sound like an idiot, I should’t post this at all.

But guys! I think spelling out barely and barley actually helped me see the difference and I feel like I will be more confident in the future about getting it right.

There are some words that I completely give up on cause I fuck it up so much that even spell check is lost and that word is ridiculous. Although, super funny, but I somehow spelled that one correctly on my first try and I don’t know how that happened. I think normally I try spelling it phonetically (got that one right too and pretty consistantly at that) so I try with an “redi” instead of a “ridi”

I am not going to go through every word in a paragraph because I feel like we will be here for awhile so I will just start a list and if I really want to talk about one I will and you can’t stop me cause it’s MY BLOGGGGGG.

And also because I really want to make myself feel dumb and expose my lack of intelligence to the world I am going to leave in my (misspellings) but obvs also give the correct spelling.

consistently (consistantly)
embarrassing (embarassing or embarrasing)
rivalry (rivaly)
miscommunication (misscomunication)
asterisk (astrisc)
consequences (consiquinces)
ambivalance (ambivilance)
business (buisness)

There are so much more than this but if I wait until I get a full list, I will never post this.

Other things that get me and I have to look up is stuff like ‘apart or a part’ or ‘awhile or a while’ and ‘everyday or every day’. I just get so confused and have to look it up all the time to make sure that I am using the correct one.

But I at least know the difference between ‘there’, ‘their’, and ‘they’re’. So I have that going for me I hope.
