But guysssss, it was so bad. Why is Ali writing such SLOP. Get me out of this hell hole past Blair, don’t be so ridiculous to do this to yourself.

Sorry this is going to be half assed because I hated it so much so like putting a lot of effort into it doesn’t sound all that interesting.

Well, there is a half werwolf lady who is mates with the alpha of a pack. He says he doesn’t care about her and that them being mates doesn’t matter to him.

The humans found out that there can be mutts and want to study her and there is a secret second child that they are trying to hide from the public. The vampires are also hunting her but tbh I cannot remember why and I actually don’t think it is all that important for the actual plot of the book. The only thing that these vampires in the story do is get her to move out of a hut in the woods to his territory.

Apparently she is dying and has been trying to find a cure and cannot do that but when mate alpha finds out he starts taking her to more drs to try and cure her. While at one of the drs houses she runs into a werwolf that is apart of a cult that wants her to go back with him. She refuses and he kills himself.

So it turns out that 1. mate alpha actually loves her very much but there is some old tradition that the alpha cannot have sex or attachments in the event that it distracts them from their job and 2. she isn’t actually dying but going into heat. so uh ohhhhhhh.

She gets kidnapped by this cult and it turns out that her mom was a human and her dad was the cult leader. The current leader is her aunt and she tries to talk out FMC into joining them. Mate alpha ends up coming back and rescuing her.

When she wakes up from her big slumber she is basically in heat and all the mate alpha’s close friends are like….. we won’t tell…. so they bang in a cabin in the woods for several days. And its weird. I am not going to describe it but if you read the first book you know what I am talking about but seriously it is so werid.

FMC is like, okay now that that’s over I am going to leave bc I know we will never be able to actually be together and that makes me sad but mate alpha is like noooooooo, I am going to stop being alpha so I can be with you. FMC is like nooooo, you can’t do that the ppl need you.

Then they get attacked by the cult and aunt ( i think?) tries to shoot mate alpha but FMC jumps in front of him and takes the bullet. When she wakes up the weird council that was enforcing the no attachments rule on the alpha took it back and are letting him stay alpha and keep his mate because by her sacrificing herself it showed that she wouldn’t stop him from doing his job to protect his ppl.

I hated this book and will not be reading a third one if it comes out. I cannot read about weird werwolf sex again.
