Guys, I almost forgot about this one. That shows you have forgettable it was since it didn’t even cross my mind when I was making these posts. Even my storygraphs forgot about it (as in I didn’t add a start and finish date).

The only thing that made me thing about it was a new stupid romance book I am reading starts almost the exact same way. I was so confused I thought I accidentally checked out the same book without knowing it.

And that is not embarrassing on my part. Like its just the genre of romance, it’s hard to come up with new concepts cause everyone is interested in the same slop.

So basically, if you like this book, I am guessing you will like Take Me Home by Melanie Sweeney. Mind you, I am literally less than 3 minutes into that book so don’t quote me on that. I just have a hunch.

Well, I read this book back at the end of October when the climax of my relationship was falling apart around me so I don’t remember too much about it. So this will probably be short (like really short) and to the point.

FMC is from a small town and there is a guy that she met in college. They were both going for teaching. She felt like everyone liked him more than her. He got the student teacher job in her hometown but she had to go somewhere else.

He is offered a job their full time after and she also gets a job their full time. They have a rivalry the entire time. But he leaves to go live in a different state with his fiance. He ends up coming back a few months later, not married and moves next door to her.

They start becoming friends and both start to fall for each other. It turns out that the guy has been in love with her most of the time they have known each other.

The conflict for this book is stupid cause it is just a case of miscommunication and also elevated feelings of hurt from an outside source. She kicks him out and I think he tries to run away but she realizes that she was being dumb and I also think she does a grand gesture to win him back. Although, the potential grand gesture is a bit hazy and that may just be from another book.

I didn’t like this book. It is a part of one of those series that follows a group of friends or families as they all eventually couple up. This one follows a group of sisters. I think I read the first one a while back but cannot really remember much besides one is the brother who falls in love with a musical artist that is in the small town to run away from the fame?

Well, whatever, just look out for the Take Me Home summary and it will probably be like the same review/summary since there is nothing original anymore.
