I read the first one so long ago and I guess I forgot how much I hated it. There is probably going to be a third and I will absolutely not be reading that one. I suffered through this one for sure. Oh yeah but this was one of my extra 4th quarter goals and I guess yay that I did it?

Honestly I don’t think I remember much of this plot it was so boring and dead. I think this was mostly about the sex between the characters? And funny enough, I skipped through all the sex scenes cause I didn’t care and didn’t want to hear it. When I told my friend this they said “so your reading it… for the plot?”

The FMC (Hercules) has two husbands that she hates but they make her sooooo horny. Well they are there…

Um at some point they fight titans and she almost dies and the husbands save her and nurse her back to health and they have sex. Also they learned that she is deaf in one here. Cue the “WHO DID THIS TO YOU???”

They have to fight in a tournament because they are special demigods and there is a ceremony that they go to in order to figure out how many things they have to fight. And uh oh the FMC has to fight the most amount, 12. Oh and also its been pushed forward but several months so all that training they thought they had to make her better doesn’t get to happen.

So because of their marriage bond they can all feel each others pain and one of the husbands gets so fucked up during his battle and the other two in the bond are like oooohhh ouchie. But FMC had lied previously and said that she couldn’t feel the pain but obvs that turned out to be false when she was doubled over in pain.

In the middle of all this, Medusa, who was a bad guy, had escaped prison and apparently she did some really bad things. So all the special demigods are getting interrogated by Zeus to see if they set her free bc she is one of them.

Also FMC frees a prisoner that two other ppl are keeping and torturing and is like no, she is chill and innocent, you have to stop doing this.

Well, time for FMC turn to fight and she kicks ass but then her two hubbys show up in the ring and they refuse to fight her and they let her win.

Also around this time they figure out that she is also blind in one eye. And they had captured her foster dad and I think let her kill him?

FMC had figured out that Zeus actually tried to have her killed as a baby but I cannot remember why. But he blamed it on Medusa and that’s why she went to prison. FMC had recorded this and played it at the afterparty from the tournaments and exposed Zeus. And OHHHHH SHE WAS HARBORING MEDUSA THE WHOLE TIME.

They force Medusa to go to school and make two other guys go with her and thats where they sent up the next book with implanting the idea that those three will end up together but I will not be reading that at all.

Putting this is the romantasy category cause I don’t really know where to put it.
