Somehow this woman has released not one but TWO new books since Deep End and I totally missed it. I had to put a hold on the other new book but this one was available right away soooo I read it.

Now that my friends are learning about this weird pact I have made with myself they are also confused why I have done this and encourage me to stop lol. But I made this choice to suffer and I like the attention I get from the complaining.

Funny enough, as I was tell my coworkers about her weird books and how all the male love interests were the same, one of my coworkers said “are these guys just horses?”

Cause like yeah, maybe if you don’t start by saying this is a human they can sound horse like? These guys always are very tall with dark hair and big mouths (and dicks) and can eat an apple in two bites.

So basically I came back into the office later that day and this was on the white board

This was actually the second horse man drawing but I didn’t get the first one 🙁

But someone did add more to this one and it’s perfect

Anyways and back to the book. This was a strange book for me to read at this time in my life cause there has been recent age gap related drama for someone I know.

But yeah, she likes this guy who is her older brothers best friend and she is 23 and he is like 38 or something. I think there is a 15 year age gap.

Now her brother is getting married in Italy and she has given up and tries to seduce him and it works but he was weird about it and she said she was done and I guess that made him think about it and stop fighting it and they end up together in the end.

Throughout the book we get flashbacks to their relationship they had together for the past 3 years before he stopped talking to her.

He spent a lot of time obviously loving her but feeling like it was wrong because of the age gab and tried to stop seeing her but seeing her at the wedding made it hard to fight his feelings.

Somehow her brother is totally okay and happy about it.

It is hard to not enjoy a romance book but like yearh fr that age gap is insane and she is so young. But it is a fictional relationship and hard to think of it as real.
