For some reason, last year I said that I was going to read all of the books Ali Hazelwood writes. I have since cursed myself for that. I enjoyed the first book I read but with each additional book I just roll my eyes. Every male lead looks the same and acts the same.

This guy is different but it is probably because he is not from the US. But this whole book is about a guy and a girl who are both into kink stuff meet up and start a sex only relationship. Big LOL though because we all know how that works out… in both of their favors! But actually that is so unrealistic because men are pigs and if they say casual they mean casual (can you tell I have been hurt lol)

So FMC has a friend who is dating this guy and is actually breaking up with him soon, obviously he is the main male lead. The friend actually hooks them up with each other by spilling the tea that both of them are into kink.

Eventually they start to hook up and both fall for each other. At the end the friend starts going through things personally and is trying to fall back on the guy but he is all in on our FMC and they end up together after a fall out that has to happen in every romance book that exists out there. The end

Can you tell I am OVER romance right now? Probably because the aforementioned casual thing I have found myself in and that is NOT going well 🙂
